We kindly ask for a deposit equal to the first night’s room rate and tax at the time of booking. This helps us manage our smaller property and allows us to provide the most welcoming experience for all our guests. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to your stay.

Deposits are typically refundable when your reservation is canceled by 4 p.m. two days before your arrival. However, some rates are nonrefundable. For holidays and special events — including Independence Day, Volleyball, and Hood-to-Coast — full payment is required in advance and is nonrefundable. For further details, please contact the property directly.

To modify or cancel your reservation, please use the same booking channel you used for your original reservation. If you need assistance, feel free to call us directly at (503) 738-5661.

Guests must be at least 21 years old to book a reservation.

To check in at The Ocean Front at Seaside, we ask that your home address be at least 50 miles away from our property. We look forward to welcoming you!

No, The Ocean Front at Seaside does not offer day rates.

Because our rates already represent a great value, we do not offer AAA, senior citizen or AARP rates.

At check-in, guests must present a valid American Express, Discover, JCB, MasterCard, or Visa card, along with government-issued photo identification. The card must have the cardholder’s name printed or embossed on it; pre-paid or cash cards are not accepted. The card will be charged at check-in for the estimated room rate and taxes, plus an additional $100 hold for incidentals or security deposits. If you wish to use a different payment method at check-out, please inform the front desk at check-in. Refunds and hold releases are processed immediately, but the timing of return to your account depends on your financial institution’s policies. The Ocean Front at Seaside is not responsible for any fees or charges your financial institution may impose, including overdraft or transfer fees.

Check-in is available after 4 p.m. If you plan to arrive after 9:30 p.m., please contact us at (503) 738-5661 to arrange your check-in.

So that we can prepare for our next guests, we ask that you vacate your room before 11 a.m.

We ask all guests to keep things peaceful between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. so everyone can enjoy the natural quiet of the beach. That means no loud music, parties, or TVs at high volume. A little consideration goes a long way toward a great night’s sleep—for you and the folks next door.

Early check-in and late check-out may be available, based on occupancy. Please contact our guest services team for availability and details. Additional fees apply.

When you arrive, we’ll confirm your check-out date at the Front Desk — just to make sure we’re all on the same page. Your nightly rate is based on your scheduled stay, so if your plans change and you decide to leave early, your pricing may be adjusted. Changes made more than 48 hours before your scheduled departure may be eligible for a refund — but within that 48-hour window, up to two nights’ rent and tax may be retained as an early departure fee.

For the comfort of all guests, including those who may have allergies, The Ocean Front at Seaside is a pet-free property. We hope you’ll still feel right at home during your stay.

The Ocean Front at Seaside does not have a spa or salon on site. However, we’re happy to recommend nearby options to help you unwind and relax during your stay.

Staying with us means stepping into classic midcentury style. Vintage charm, but no elevator. While some areas of the property require stairs, we do offer accessible rooms and a step-free lobby. We’re more than happy to help you find the perfect room for your needs. Just reach out—we’re here to help!

Yes, our rooms include a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker for your convenience.

All our rooms feature stall showers; we do not have bathtubs.

Like many classic properties along the Oregon Coast, we don’t have AC, but we’re perfectly positioned to enjoy nature’s cooling system: fresh ocean air and gentle breezes from the beach. Even during the summer, evenings in Seaside are refreshingly cool. To make sure you’re always comfortable, every room includes a box fan for those rare warmer days.

Our Courtyard Suites offer full kitchens with a range, oven, microwave, and refrigerator. Other room types include a microwave, small refrigerator, and coffee maker for simple snack preparation.

Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the property for our guests. Stay connected during your stay with ease!

Yes. Your room will be carefully prepared before you arrive, and we provide a daily touch-up with fresh towels. Linens are changed every third day. Need extra service during your stay? Just let us know—we’re happy to help keep things fresh and comfortable.

We’re happy to store your luggage for up to 5 hours before check-in or after check-out, at no additional charge. Please note that long-term storage is not available.

If you think you’ve left something behind, don’t worry—we’ll do our best to help! The Ocean Front at Seaside keeps lost-and-found items for up to 90 days. Give us a call at (503) 738-5661, and we’ll be happy to check for you.

For the comfort of all our guests, smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. This includes both traditional smoking methods and all electronic delivery systems. Any smoking in rooms—or strong lingering smoke scents—will result in a disappointed look and a $250 minimum room cleaning fee. We appreciate your understanding in helping keep our ocean air fresh for everyone!

We’re happy to offer one parking space per guest room. If you need extra space, there’s usually nearby street parking available. If you have an oversized vehicle, please contact us in advance to assure we can accommodate it.

Yes, but the Pacific Ocean here is cold year-round and the currents can be strong. Wading, playing in the sand, and surfing in wetsuits are more common than full-on swimming.

Tons! Visit the Seaside Aquarium; rent bikes or surreys for the Promenade; go crabbing, clamming, or fishing; shop downtown; explore local art galleries; hike beautiful trails; or take a short drive to nearby towns like Cannon Beach or Astoria. Just to name a few.

While Seaside has everything from fresh seafood to cozy diners and ice cream shops, look out for local favorites like clam chowder, fish and chips, and saltwater taffy!

The Seaside Civic and Convention Center is just a few blocks from The Ocean Front at Seaside—about 5 minutes on foot. It’s also quick to reach by bike or car, making it easy to enjoy events there and then return to the comfort of your room and those amazing views!

Seaside’s oceanfront Promenade is about 1.5 miles long, stretching from Avenue U at the south to 12th Avenue at the north. Built in the 1920s, it follows the curve of the beach and is a favorite spot for walking, jogging, biking, or just watching the waves. Locals and visitors alike use it to take in the view, people-watch, or enjoy a quiet moment by the sea.
