Seaside Golf Club
Seaside Golf Club offers guests a chance to tee off surrounded by stunning coastal beauty and rich Pacific Northwest history. Tucked at the base of Tillamook Head, this scenic nine-hole public course is beloved for its casual charm, ocean-kissed air, and occasional wildlife sightings!
Established in 1923, the course was designed by renowned golf architect and Olympic gold medalist Chandler Egan. His legacy includes work on other notable Oregon golf courses and contributions to the legendary 1929 redesign of Pebble Beach. But here in Seaside, his vision lives on in a relaxed, approachable course that welcomes both beginners and seasoned players alike.
Perfect for a spontaneous round during your stay with us, Seaside Golf Club features 2,697 yards of tree-lined fairways and coastal breezes. Clubs and carts are available to rent, so there’s no need to pack your gear. And after your game, the cozy clubhouse offers plenty of ways to unwind: browse the well-stocked pro shop, grab a hearty meal in the on-site restaurant (a favorite among locals), or sip on something cold in the sports bar, which proudly serves a rotating selection of Pacific Northwest craft beers.
The course’s location is more than picturesque—it’s historic. In the late 1800s, the land was home to railroad tycoon Ben Holladay’s Seaside House, a luxurious resort that drew elite travelers from across the West. That hotel provided a fitting name for the town that would grow up around it.
